# Stream E2EE - Zero-Knowledge Team Collaboration Platform

> Zero-knowledge end-to-end encrypted team collaboration and communication platform built on the Matrix protocol.

## Overview

Stream E2EE is YPYM's sovereign, zero-knowledge end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) communication and team collaboration platform. Engineered on open cryptographic standards and the decentralized Matrix federation protocol, Stream ensures that internal communications, strategic workflows, proprietary files, and executive discussions remain cryptographically sealed against external observation.

Unlike centralized consumer messaging services, Stream operates entirely on private, dedicated enterprise infrastructure with zero reliance on third-party identity servers, third-party push telemetry, or unencrypted database stores.

## Core Capabilities

**encryption\_standard** `string` (default: Olm / Megolm)

Double Ratchet cryptographic protocol (Olm) for 1:1 direct sessions and Megolm ratcheted trees for high-scale encrypted group rooms.

**zero\_plaintext\_storage** `boolean` (default: true)

Message payloads, event DAG states, and media attachments are persisted exclusively in encrypted ciphertext on backend storage layers.

**zero\_identity\_leak** `boolean` (default: true)

Third-party identity servers (3PID lookup) are fully disabled. Contact discovery and identity verification never leak phone numbers or emails to third parties.

**sovereign\_homeserver** `string` (default: matrix.ypym.app)

Dedicated homeserver running private Matrix Synapse node with strict isolation and private Docker bridge networking.

## Architecture & Security Topology

Stream E2EE enforces strict containerized isolation with reverse-proxy edge termination:
