# Stream E2EE iOS - Element X Client Installation Guide

> Mobile client setup and configuration instructions for Element X on iOS devices.

## Overview

For iOS and iPadOS devices, Stream E2EE connects via **Element X**, built from scratch using Apple SwiftUI and the Matrix Rust SDK. Element X provides near-instant sync times, smooth animations, native Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) integration, and full end-to-end cryptographic integrity.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Element X is available on the Apple App Store. Ensure you install **Element X** to take advantage of the modernized sliding-sync architecture.

## Setup Instructions

**1. Download Element X from Apple App Store**

Download the official iOS application:\
