Overview
Stream E2EE is YPYM’s sovereign, zero-knowledge end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) communication and team collaboration platform. Engineered on open cryptographic standards and the decentralized Matrix federation protocol, Stream ensures that internal communications, strategic workflows, proprietary files, and executive discussions remain cryptographically sealed against external observation. Unlike centralized consumer messaging services, Stream operates entirely on private, dedicated enterprise infrastructure with zero reliance on third-party identity servers, third-party push telemetry, or unencrypted database stores.Stream E2EE is an internal enterprise collaboration product. Learn more at suite.ypym.app/stream-e2ee.

Live production interface of the Stream E2EE collaboration client (stream.ypym.app) displaying active enterprise rooms such as #cre-nobu, #hidden-page-seo, and #ink-and-thought. A dedicated real-time thread panel demonstrates ongoing discussions on digital banking article revisions and search performance justifications under complete Matrix Olm/Megolm encryption. All message payloads, media attachments, and state events remain cryptographically sealed at rest without external telemetry exposure.
Client Platforms
Stream E2EE is accessible across web, desktop, and mobile operating systems:Web / Desktop
Access Stream via your modern web browser or standalone PWA client.
Android (Element X)
Native next-generation mobile client built with Rust and Jetpack Compose.
iOS (Element X)
High-performance native iOS client powered by the Matrix Rust SDK and SwiftUI.
Core Capabilities
string
default:"Olm / Megolm"
Double Ratchet cryptographic protocol (Olm) for 1:1 direct sessions and Megolm ratcheted trees for high-scale encrypted group rooms.
boolean
default:"true"
Message payloads, event DAG states, and media attachments are persisted exclusively in encrypted ciphertext on backend storage layers.
boolean
default:"true"
Third-party identity servers (3PID lookup) are fully disabled. Contact discovery and identity verification never leak phone numbers or emails to third parties.
string
default:"matrix.ypym.app"
Dedicated homeserver running private Matrix Synapse node with strict isolation and private Docker bridge networking.
Architecture & Security Topology
Stream E2EE enforces strict containerized isolation with reverse-proxy edge termination:| Component | Responsibility | Technical Specification |
|---|---|---|
| Edge Gateway | SSL termination, reverse proxy, .well-known discovery | Caddy 2 (TLS 1.3, Let’s Encrypt) |
| Homeserver Engine | Event DAG, room state distribution, E2EE key exchange | Matrix Synapse Engine |
| Relational Store | Transactional room records, encrypted events, device lists | PostgreSQL 16 (Isolated Bridge Network) |
| Web Client SPA | Pre-configured web interface with branded themes | Element Web (HTTPS / WSS) |
| Mobile Client Core | High-speed cryptographic engine and matrix sync | Element X (Matrix Rust SDK) |
Access & Onboarding
Enterprise Authentication Notice:
Access to Stream E2EE requires an active corporate identity. If you are a YPYM team member (full-time employee, intern, enterprise partner, or affiliated collaborator), your workspace credentials should be provisioned upon your start date.If you have not received your credentials or need an access reset, contact your supervisor or reach out directly to [email protected].
